About Megan
Megan is excited to join the team at Shai-Hess Commercial Real Estate, bringing her background in communications, marketing, community development, and relationship building to the commercial real estate industry. A proud transplant to Newark, Megan is passionate about helping businesses and property owners navigate opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of Licking County.
A 2018 alumna of Walsh University, Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing. She began her career in Licking County at The Dawes Arboretum before joining Newark Development Partners, where she contributed to the restoration of the Historic Newark Arcade. She later served as Director of Development at The Midland Theatre, focusing on sponsorships, grant writing, customer service, and community relationships.
Megan is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of Explore Licking County and the Downtown Newark Association and as a member of Young Leaders of Licking County. In 2022, she was recognized as a recipient of the Newark Advocate’s 20 Under 40 award.
Megan lives in Newark with her husband, their children, and their dog.
