About Nick
Nicholas is a proud Ohio native and a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in construction management, development, and business leadership. In December 2024, he joined the Shai-Hess Commercial Real Estate Team. Alongside his role at Shai-Hess, Nicholas continues to lead NR Roberts Consulting, a firm he founded to provide expert services in project development, site selection, pre-construction services, and owner’s representation. Together, these roles allow him to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients navigating the commercial real estate landscape.
Throughout his career, Nicholas has successfully built and led multiple businesses, including co-founding Tekton Construction Services, where he gained hands-on expertise in managing complex projects and cultivating strong client relationships. His ability to strategically plan, negotiate contracts, and analyze market trends has earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor to businesses and investors alike.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s in architecture and environmental design, Nicholas combines his technical knowledge with a results-driven approach to meet the diverse needs of his clients.
Nicholas is also an active member of his community, serving as a member of the Zanesville Downtown Association, a past president of the Zanesville Jaycees, and a board member for organizations such as the Zanesville Chamber of Commerce and the Associated Builders and Contractors. He resides in Nashport, OH, with his family and is passionate about contributing to the growth and development of his hometown and surrounding areas.
