About Whit
A proud graduate of Denison University with a degree in Economics with a Financial concentration, Whit is passionate about commercial real estate as well as working to grow the community. In addition to his studies, Whit was a four-year member of the Denison Men’s Lacrosse team from 2022-2025 where he played for the program he grew up watching as a Granville kid. As a member of the Newark Rotary Club, Whit works to expand his network and build relationships with a focus on enhancing and better understanding the community. Prior to his time at Shai-Hess, Whit served as a financial analyst in an internship capacity for Wexford Lodging Advisors from 2023-2025. However, his passion for commercial real estate blossomed during the summer of 2023 which he spent with our very own Steve Layman and the Anderson-Layman Company. There, he observed and shadowed Steve on various development projects across Licking County thus spurring his excitement for the demands of the commercial real estate industry.
